How does it work?

The PRS referral procedure is designed to provide you with a psychotherapist suited to your individual needs, personality and life experience.

Our goal is to make this a friendly, calming and informative experience for you, so we use a simple 3 step procedure:

1) Call us anytime – day or night – at 416-920-0655 and leave a message on our voice mail. Alternatively you can send us an email.

2) We'll call you back within 24 hours and arrange an interview with an advisor (one of our 50 therapists) at a time that's convenient for you. The purpose of the interview is to discuss your needs.

Interviews

The interview will help determine who is the best psychotherapist suited for you, and we'll provide you with the therapist's phone number so you can make an appointment. After seeing the therapist, if for any reason you feel it's not a good match, we'll be happy to provide you with another contact.

It's that straightforward.

Fees

A nominal fee is charged at the time of the initial assessment interview. OHIP does not cover psychotherapy. Your employer or your extended health insurance may provide partial reimbursement. An administration fee of $40 is charged for your initial interview. Our psychotherapists' rates average between $70-$100 per hour.
